December 5, 2011. The Zeiss Confocal
is repaired and online.
Also remember.....
Please start the Zeiss confocal computer as soon
as you arrive and be patient and allow the
computer adequate time to fully boot and do it's
startup sequence after log on. Watch the Hard Disk
activity indicator (amber light on CPU) until it
is mostly done blinking before launching the AIM
program.
(Folks, it is an old P4 processor, not a quad core totally awesome
gaming machine; relax and let it work...We are not allowed to
upgrade the hardware with new, fast parts.)
